Job summary

A leading construction firm in London is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to support Senior Quantity Surveyors with monthly reports, valuations, and account preparations. This role offers a chance to gain experience in multi-million-pound projects and develop within an established team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar, relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, along with the ability to work in a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar required.
• Relevant work experience with a main contractor or consultancy.
• Experience in Bill of Quantities (BoQ) production needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors with monthly cost/value reports.
• Assist in the preparation and submitting of monthly valuations.
• Help with the preparation of final accounts.
• Negotiate accounts and quotations.
• Attend Site Meetings as required.

• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors with monthly cost/value reports
• Assist in the preparation and submitting of monthly valuations
• Help with the preparation of final accounts
• Negotiation of accounts and quotations
• General administration
• Attend Site Meetings as required

You will need

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Relevant work experience with a main contractor or consultancy practice
• Experience in BoQ production
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
