Job summary

A leading construction services provider in London is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role offers a chance to work on multi-million-pound projects while supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, relevant experience, and strong numerical and communication skills. You will assist with reports, valuations, and final accounts in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience with a main contractor or consultancy practice.
• Experience in Bills of Quantities (BoQ) production.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors with monthly cost/value reports.
• Assist in preparing and submitting monthly valuations.
• Help with the preparation of final accounts.
• Negotiate accounts and quotations.
• General administration tasks.
• Attend site meetings as required.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent numeracy skills

Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar

You will need

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Relevant work experience with a main contractor or consultancy practice
• Experience in BoQ production
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
