AECOM is hiring a Graduate Project Manager in Manchester to support delivery across energy, water, rail and highways projects. You will work with senior teams to gain hands-on experience from day one, assisting with lifecycle management from option studies to NEC contract administration.

The role emphasizes strong communication, cross‑functional collaboration and a proactive approach as you build expertise in project management tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with and assist Project Managers at all levels to support successful delivery of projects.
• Maintain regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders as a primary point of contact for queries.
• Provide administrative support for contract management and documentation.
• Oversee data management and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules for efficient execution.
• Prepare and update project status reports with risks, quality, progress and cost insights.
• Ensure adherence to organisational and client documentation standards.
• Participate in project site visits and meetings to ensure alignment.
• Engage in training, workshops and mentorship to support professional growth.
• Develop expertise in project management tools, methodologies and best practices.
