Assystem invites Mechanical Engineering graduates to join a two-year Graduate Programme, tackling live Defence, New Build, Fusion and Modular Nuclear projects across the UK. You will work with mentors, gain hands-on experience, and develop the skills to shape a long-term career in engineering.

From day one you tackle real engineering challenges, supported by mentors and technical experts, building broad experience before focusing on areas of interest and aligning with project needs.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a Mechanical Engineering background who are eager to learn and apply knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design, specification and engineering assessment activities.
• Prepare calculations, technical notes, reports and engineering documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Use engineering tools and apply relevant standards with guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Help teams identify and resolve technical issues, risks and interfaces.
