Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist Project Managers in client relationships and project meetings.
  • Help manage programmes, budgets, risks and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
  • Prepare project reports and maintain documentation.
  • Support procurement activities and contractor engagement.
  • Attend meetings, workshops and stakeholder consultations.
  • Learn to identify and monitor project risks and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and industry regs.

The Role

As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll support the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion while developing your technical knowledge and project management skills.

  • Assisting with the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects from early planning through to completion.Supporting Project Managers in maintaining strong client relationships and attending project meetings.
  • Assisting with the management of project programmes, budgets, risks, and quality standards.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Preparing project reports, monitoring progress, and maintaining key documentation.
  • Supporting procurement activities and contractor engagement.
  • Attending project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Learning to identify, monitor, and manage project risks and change.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
About You

We’re looking for an ambitious graduate who’s eager to build a successful career in construction project management.

  • A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, or another construction-related discipline.
  • A genuine passion for project management within the built environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Confidence when engaging with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • An interest in infrastructure and/or building projects.
  • An understanding of NEC or JCT contracts, or the enthusiasm to learn.
  • A desire to work towards professional accreditation such as APM or RICS.
