Aldwych Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure and complex construction programmes across rail, highways, aviation, water, utilities and energy. Project Manager - Infrastructure & Complex Construction Projects - Birmingham
About the Opportunity

I'm looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing construction consultancy delivering some of the UK's most complex and high-profile infrastructure programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals on major projects across sectors including rail, highways, aviation, water, utilities, energy, defence and local authority infrastructure. You'll play a key role in managing projects from inception through to completion while helping clients achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

About You

They're looking for someone who combines strong technical project management skills with excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities.

You’ll ideally have:
  • A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, RICS, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent), or be working towards one.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multidisciplinary teams on construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience delivering projects within live operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management across both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
  • Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle from planning to completion.
Previous experience within one or more of the following sectors:
  • Rail
  • Aviation
  • Highways
  • Water
  • Utilities
  • Energy
  • Defence
  • Experience working within regulated environments and established governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of delivery.
