We're partnering with an ambitious and growing construction consultancy that's making a real impact across the UK. Rather than treating graduates as an extra pair of hands, they're committed to developing the next generation of project managers, providing hands‑on experience, structured mentoring, and a clear route to professional chartership. Based in their Nottingham office, you'll become part of a collaborative team delivering a broad range of construction and infrastructure projects across sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, regeneration, residential and the public sector. It's an opportunity to gain exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about helping graduates succeed. From your first day, you'll be involved in live projects, building practical experience, developing client‑facing skills, and learning what it takes to deliver successful projects from concept through to completion.

The Opportunity

As a Graduate Project Manager, you'll support senior members of the team while developing the technical, commercial and communication skills needed to become a successful consultant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
  • Supporting Project Managers with programme management, budgets, project reporting and risk management.
  • Attending client meetings, design workshops and site visits.
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project progress and maintaining key project documentation.
  • Assisting with procurement and contract administration activities.
  • Learning how to manage project change, programme and quality.
  • Supporting the delivery of projects in line with health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and the wider project team.
About You

We're looking for someone who's motivated, eager to learn and excited to build a long‑term career in construction project management.

  • A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or another construction related discipline.
  • A genuine interest in construction project management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take on responsibility.
  • The confidence to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • An interest in working across a variety of sectors and project types.
  • Some knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
  • Ambitions to work towards professional qualifications such as APM or RICS.
What's in it for You?
  • Salary up to £28,000
  • Full support towards professional chartership (APM/RICS)
  • Ongoing training and structured career development
