Job Description:

Extra Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Graduate Production Engineer for one of our clients based in the Swadlincote area.

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving production issues, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, as well as reducing waste.

Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for production staff.

Implement solutions to improve production flow.

Ensure products meet quality standards and implement measures to maintain consistency and reliability.

Reduce production costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Carry out maintenance checks and repairs on machinery.

Graduate Production Engineer Details:

• Location: Swadlincote (DE11)
• Hours: 08:00 – 16:00 (Must be flexible)
• Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification)
• Proactive approach to processes and maintenance
• Control system experience
• Kaizen and Kanban knowledge
• Familiarity with POC
• Flexibility to be reactive for maintenance faults and repairs
