Job summary

Stantec in Cardiff is launching its 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Process Engineer to contribute to high-profile water projects and develop practical engineering solutions for communities and the environment.

You will join a dynamic Process Engineering team, gaining exposure to water treatment, recycling and natural-based solutions while working across the full project lifecycle, including option development to detailed design and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with interest in water industry.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and environments.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering input across water and wastewater projects.
• Analyse and interpret technical data to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to option development, design calculations and technical reports.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and modelling specialists.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders through clear communication and input.
