Job summary

Stantec in Bristol is inviting applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Process Engineer. You will contribute to high-profile water projects, developing practical engineering solutions that support communities and the environment.

You will work with a collaborative Process Engineering team, growing technical skills under experienced engineers, with opportunities across wastewater treatment, water recycling and clean water solutions, including nature-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry required or recent graduates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.
• Desire to learn and grow within the water sector.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering input across water and wastewater projects.
• Analyse and interpret technical data to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to option development, design calculations, and technical reports.
• Work closely with civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and modelling specialists.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to communicate technical input effectively.
• Develop understanding of sustainable process solutions including nature-based approaches.
