Job summary

KPI RECRUITING LTD is seeking a Graduate Primary School Teaching Assistant in Leeds. The role supports learning across the primary curriculum, assisting teachers, and fostering pupils’ academic, social and emotional development. It offers a pathway toward teacher training or further study.

You will work across EYFS to KS2, deliver targeted interventions, and support SEND pupils with patience and empathy. Term-time only, with a Oct 2026 start, and weekly pay up to £560.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree from a UK university in Primary Education, Early Childhood Studies or related subjects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and resilience; proactive and enthusiastic about learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with teaching and learning.
• Deliver small-group interventions in literacy, numeracy and phonics.
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND and adapt activities to needs.
• Support behaviour management and positive learning behaviours.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to enable progress.
