Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd. Wembley-based primary school in London is looking for a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You will support pupils across KS1 and KS2 and gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate holds a First-Class or 2:1 degree (preferably Russell Group), with interest in teaching, educational psychology, child development or SEND. This full-time, long-term role offers £550-£600 per week.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a First-Class or 2:1 degree, preferably from a Russell Group university.
• Degree in psychology, education studies or related subject is desirable.
• Experience tutoring, mentoring or in school settings is valued.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Deliver targeted English and mathematics interventions.
• Support reading, writing, vocabulary and numeracy development.
• Assist with pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Prepare resources and help with lesson organisation.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Monitor pupil progress and share observations with teachers.
• Support enrichment activities, trips and wider school life.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environment.
