A friendly and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton is seeking enthusiastic and driven graduates to join their team as Graduate Teaching Assistants from September 2025 . This long-term opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to build hands-on experience in education and make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
While degrees in Psychology, Education Studies, Health and Social Care (or similar fields) are particularly suited to this role, graduates from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025
Earn up to £520 per week
Gain practical school-based experience ahead of teacher training in 2026
Work in a Wolverhampton primary school with excellent transport connections
Supporting teaching staff with class activities, small group work, and 1:1 support
Helping pupils develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction
Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation
Contributing to a supportive, engaging, and positive learning environment
Working closely with experienced teachers and support staff to enhance your skills
Gaining valuable insight into the teaching profession and day-to-day school life
Graduates with a 2:1 or higher in any subject
Those with degrees in Psychology, Education Studies, Health and Social Care , or similar fields are particularly encouraged
A genuine interest in supporting primary-aged children and their learning
Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a professional attitude
Adaptable, patient, and motivated individuals
Previous experience with children is a bonus, but not essential
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
