Do you have a passion for working with children and want to gain valuable classroom experience before starting teacher training in 2026?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stafford is looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join their team as Graduate Teaching Assistants from September 2025. This role offers an excellent chance to gain practical, hands-on experience in a school environment while positively impacting the lives of young learners.

Graduates from any academic background are encouraged to apply, though degrees in Psychology, Education Studies, Health and Social Care, or related fields are particularly well-suited.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting teachers with classroom activities, including small group and one-to-one support
Supporting pupils’ development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
Helping with lesson planning and classroom organisation

Learning from experienced educators and support staff
Ideal Candidate:
Holds a 2:1 degree or above in any subject
Has a keen interest in Psychology, Education Studies, Health and Social Care, or similar fields (preferred but not essential)
Demonstrates excellent communication, professionalism, and enthusiasm
Is adaptable, patient, and proactive
Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not required
Important:
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.
