Are you a recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in a primary school setting? We are currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to support Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 pupils in high-performing and inclusive mainstream primary schools across the Black Country.
This role offers the opportunity to develop key classroom skills, support pupil progress, and work alongside experienced teachers in a structured and supportive environment.
Delivering small group interventions in areas such as phonics, early literacy, reading comprehension and numeracy
Supporting classroom routines and assisting with the delivery of the primary curriculum
Providing one-to-one support to pupils with mild additional learning needs, under the guidance of the class teacher
Encouraging pupil engagement and promoting positive behaviour
Contributing to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classroom environments that support learning and emotional wellbeing
A recent graduate (Psychology, Education, Sports Science, or related field)
A genuine interest in primary education and child development
Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
Previous experience working with children (e.g. schools, tutoring, holiday camps, mentoring) is highly beneficial
Looking to pursue a career in primary teaching, educational psychology, or related fields
Gain meaningful experience in primary classroom support
Develop practical skills in phonics delivery, Key Stage 1 intervention support, and guided reading facilitation
Weekly pay and consistent placements available throughout the academic year
