Are you a recent graduate with a background in Education, Psychology, or Health & Social Care?
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a primary school before moving into teaching, child psychology, or social care?
A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Stoke-on-Trent is looking to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team either immediately or from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s learning, emotional well-being, and classroom engagement—while gaining invaluable experience in a supportive educational setting.
Full-time, long-term position
Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Provide assistance on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and in class settings
Help pupils build confidence, develop literacy and numeracy skills, and feel fully supported in school life
Work closely with class teachers and SEN professionals to deliver inclusive, child-centred support
Develop your understanding of safeguarding, SEND and classroom management
A recent graduate in Education Studies, Psychology, or Health & Social Care
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
Previous experience with children is beneficial, but not essential
Competitive weekly pay – up to £520
Excellent experience ahead of teacher training or further study
