Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control is looking for a Graduate Pest Control Technician to cover Yeovil, with 6–12 months initial focus on a specific area. You will be trained to resolve pest issues and support customers, progressing to more senior paths over time.

The role offers a competitive starting salary, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance into roles such as Sales Surveyor, Field Biologist, or Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc subject (including Social Science) or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
• Willingness to work hard, have fun, and engage with customers daily.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect premises for signs of pests and assess risk.
• Address pest problems quickly and remove evidence of activity.
• Advise customers on maintenance and hygiene practices.
• Complete accurate visit reports.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional image.
