Job summary

United Utilities offers a 3-year Graduate Future Leader programme across the North West with placements in Treatment, Network Operations, and control centre operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience and leadership exposure while rotating through on-site and office settings in Warrington and other counties.

You’ll develop communication, strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership skills, with mentoring and structured training to prepare you for future operational roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 (or 2:2 with Masters) in technical, scientific, environmental, engineering or business management degree.
• Motivated, enthusiastic with leadership and communications potential.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations in the North West and work across site and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured placements across Treatment and Network Operations, County System Performance, Risk Management and Central Integrated Control Centre.
• Develop leadership, communication and change management skills to drive performance and meet service standards.
• Support long-term strategic thinking to grow into operational leadership roles.
