Job summary

United Utilities is recruiting for a 3-year Operational Future Leader graduate programme in the North West. You will rotate through treatment and network operations, gain exposure to county systems and an Integrated Control Centre, and develop leadership and change-management skills while supporting safe water and wastewater services.

You’ll work on-site and in offices across Warrington and surrounding locations, with a strong learning network, mentors, and structured placements to prepare you

Qualifications

• Be motivated, enthusiastic and have the potential to develop leadership, influencing and communications skills.
• Have good written and interpersonal skills.
• Be an excellent team player with ambition and drive.
• Able to work across a matrix organisation to deliver outcomes.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations in the North West and be flexible with hours.
• Must have a full UK Driving licence at scheme start.

Responsibilities

• Engage in structured placements across Treatment and Network Operations and other areas.
• Develop understanding of Integrated Control Centre operations and incident response.
• Lead teams as you progress through the graduate scheme.
• Participate in formal leadership training and innovation challenges.
