Job summary

Murphy Group in the UK invites graduates to join a two-yearGraduate Mechanical Engineer programme across multi-discipline construction projects in energy, civil and infrastructure sectors. You will work with site engineers and gain hands-on experience on large-scale projects.

The programme includes IMechE training and a dedicated mentor, with opportunities in Ireland as well as the UK. It provides a clear path toward professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Computer literate with Word and Excel proficiency.
• Eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship for non-UK workers.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning and site maintenance teams in fault finding.
• Assist with resolving technical problems at all levels.
• Carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Maintain Quality Management System records accurately.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and in date per policy.
• Co-ordinate and supervise Sub-contractors and ensure latest drawings are used.
• Maintain site diary with date, location and serial numbers of equipment.
• Assist Site Management to update KPIs, material reconciliation and progress reports.
