Cundall is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to contribute to some of the UK and worldwide’s most exciting construction projects, including data centres and corporate HQs. You will design and analyse mechanical services, translating client needs into sustainable building solutions with guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• On target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
• Desirable if accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Interest in innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for the built environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with Grasshopper or Dynamo, or a modern programming language (e.g., Python, C#, VB).
• Organised and methodical with good time management.
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed mechanical building services design and analysis.
• Translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on projects in education, healthcare, workplace, retail and data centres.
• Progress toward chartership with supportive development programmes.
