Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Critical Systems Engineer to join our UK team. You’ll assist in delivering design and analysis for innovative, sustainable building services across diverse sectors, from education to data centres.

Under expert supervision, you’ll translate client needs into practical designs and grow toward chartered status, supported by our development programmes and industry recognised training.

Qualifications

• On target to achieve a 2:2 degree.
• Desirable: BEng/MEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong interest in innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for buildings.
• Proactive with personal and professional development mindset.
• Understanding of parametric modelling (Grasshopper/Dynamo) or programming (Python/C#/VB).
• Well-organised and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed mechanical building services design and analysis.
• Translate clients' needs into workable building services solutions (ventilation, cooling, heating).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across education, healthcare, workplace, retail and data centres.
• Develop professional skills toward chartership with accredited programmes.
