Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team on UK and global projects. You’ll design mechanical building services and provide analysis, translating client needs into effective, sustainable solutions.

You’ll work under experienced engineers, develop through accredited programs (CIBSE/IMechE), and have opportunities to progress toward chartership while contributing to high-profile projects such as data centres and headquarters for Deutsche Bank and Diageo.

Qualifications

• On target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
• Desirable to have a BEng/MEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Passion for innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for the built environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo) or knowledge of Python/C#.
• Organised and methodical in managing tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultancy input on projects across education, healthcare, workplace, retail and data centres.
• Undertake detailed mechanical building services design and analysis.
• Translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services.
• Contribute to sustainability-focused design decisions and documentation.
