Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK (formerly Hanson UK) offers a 6-year integrated graduate program in cement production engineering, based in Ketton. The scheme starts with a two-year Cement pathway designed to build technical production skills and strategic management capabilities.

The program runs as a fixed-term contract with a starting salary of approximately £30,937 per year. Graduates will gain hands-on experience across process operations, health and safety, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated in 2026 or will graduate in 2027 with a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering.
• British citizenship or UK settled status and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Learn process information for kiln and cement mill operation.
• Assist with KPI data gathering and reporting for operational performance.
• Support design and implementation of efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet targets and safety standards.
• Engage with SAP PM and other systems for maintenance planning.
