As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have exposure to all aspects of our mechanical, renewable, and process engineering. Under the guidance of our experienced engineers, you will apply your university knowledge to practical projects, building a challenging and rewarding career at Wykes Engineering.
We are looking for enthusiastic graduates with a BSc or BEng in Engineering (merit or above) from any IMechE-accredited course.
Graduates at Wykes primarily work within the Design Engineering Team, focusing initially on developing modelling and drawing skills using AutoCAD and Inventor. Early projects are smaller in scale to develop fundamental engineering skills and familiarity with company processes. As experience grows, graduates will work more independently on larger projects, gaining exposure to disciplines such as Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Thermodynamics, and Process Engineering. Our fast-paced environment offers ample opportunity to develop a broad skill set quickly.
