This role offers the opportunity to work on large, complex projects with support and guidance, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication.

The position involves assisting with day-to-day activities on major UK infrastructure projects, under the supervision of Section/Project Managers, as part of a 3-year graduate development program designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Health and Safety compliance and uphold quality standards.
  • Review M&E design for compliance with UK and client standards.
  • Gather client requirements and incorporate them into the design.
  • Provide buildability advice and solutions.
  • Support tendering processes with third-party designers and suppliers.
  • Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Support project management in resource planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial's values and take ownership of assigned work.
  • Follow safe working practices on site and ensure team compliance.

Skills and Competence:

We seek graduates with:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • Degree or Master’s in Engineering (all disciplines considered).
  • Motivation to learn and contribute.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proactive attitude and commercial awareness.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Engineering experience.
  • CSCS Card.

Essential:

  • Right to work in the UK for the duration of the program.
