Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Critical Systems Engineer to join our team in the UK. You’ll work on designing and analyzing mechanical services for high-profile projects such as data centres and corporate campuses, with guidance from experienced engineers.

You’ll develop skills in ventilation, cooling, heating, and sustainability, progressing toward professional chartership through our development programmes. Sept 2027 start in the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree minimum in a relevant field.
• Desirable if accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Interest in innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for the built environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take the initiative.
• Familiar with parametric modelling tools or basic programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultancy input on projects across education, healthcare, workplace, retail and data centres.
• Undertake mechanical building services design and analysis under guidance from senior engineers.
• Translate client needs into building services designs (ventilation, cooling, heating, and related systems).
