Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Critical Systems Engineer to join their Critical Systems team in the UK. You will contribute to innovative, sustainable building services designs across sectors such as education, healthcare and data centres, working with a multi-disciplinary team and under accredited CPD programs to progress toward chartership.

Role offers structured development, exposure to prominent projects, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
• Desirable if accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Passion for innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for the built environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with parametric modelling techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo) or a modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB).
• Organised and methodical in task management, able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of mechanical building services for diverse projects.
• Provide specialist consultancy input across education, healthcare, workplace, retail and data centre sectors.
• Translate client needs into practical, sustainable building services concepts.
• Work under senior engineers to develop design and analysis deliverables.
• Develop professional competencies towards chartership with CPD programmes.
