• A 2:2 degree or above in Materials Science or an Engineering related field or a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Good communication skills for presenting technical data, both in writing and orally, to colleagues from your discipline and others.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as to take individual responsibility and make decisions.
• Ability to apply scientific reasoning to industrial situations.
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of maths & science and IT skills.
• The ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
• An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment.
• Creative, innovative, open to new ways of working.

As a Graduate Materials Engineer you’ll be part of this exciting programme from the start, gaining hands‑on experience across major infrastructure projects.
