BMT invites graduates to join its Marine Engineering team in Bath as part of a two-year graduate development programme. You will receive structured training from experienced engineers and work on diverse projects spanning ships, submarines, and marine systems, with opportunities to contribute to both Defence and commercial missions.

The role supports your journey toward Chartered Engineer status, with hybrid working arrangements and travel opportunities to client sites and offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ambition to pursue Chartered Engineer status and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of marine engineering projects for ships and submarines.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and project managers across Defence and Commercial domains.
• Engage in training and mentoring to progress towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Contribute to sustainable, innovative marine solutions in the Bath UK area.
• Travel to customer sites and BMT offices as required by projects.
