Job summary

Aggreko Graduate Manufacturing Technical Writer position based at Lomondgate Production Facility offers a entry-level path to craft clear technical documentation. You will learn to translate engineering information into actionable content that supports safe, efficient operations.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and production teams to produce SOPs, work instructions and training materials, while developing diagrams and flowcharts to enhance manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or relevant experience within a mechanical, electrical or engineering environment.
• Strong interest in turning technical information into clear, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, quality standards and management systems such as ISO.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work across multiple teams.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a desire to develop technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain clear technical documents, including SOPs, work instructions and training materials.
• Capture manufacturing processes through shop floor observation, gathering detailed steps, photos and technical information.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Graduate Manufacturing Technical Writer based in our Lomondgate Production Facility . You'll play a key role in bringing technical information to life. Working closely with experienced engineers and operational teams, you'll learn how to create clear, accurate documentation that supports manufacturing excellence, drives continuous improvement, and helps ensure safe and efficient operations.
