Job summary

Aggreko is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for our Lomondgate Production Facility in Scotland. You will implement and continually improve our Health, Safety and Environmental management systems while ensuring compliance with UK HSE legislation and ISO standards.

You will lead investigations, conduct risk assessments, and drive improvements by coaching teams, delivering training and maintaining strong safety performance across the site.

Qualifications

  • Compliance with UK HSE legislation and internal frameworks (ISO 45001/14001/50001)
  • Lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, audits and safety observations
  • Coach stakeholders, train HSE staff, and drive improvement initiatives

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a HSE Advisor based in our Lomondgate Production Facility. As a HSE Specialist you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the organisation’s Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems.

What You’ll Do As a HSE Advisor
  • Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and internal frameworks, maintaining Legal Compliance Registers and adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and global HSE standards
  • Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions and trend analysis to reduce risk and prevent recurrence
  • Help our teams create, share, and train on risk assessments. Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations, supporting ongoing improvements
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by working closely with our people, coaching delivering HSE training and inductions, tracking KPIs, advising and coaching stakeholders, and leading HSE committees and improvement initiatives.
You Are
  • Degree or diploma qualification in a relevant Occupational Health and Safety Management discipline, ideally supported by a recognised Health and Safety learnings, with professional IOSH membership desirable.
  • Able to demonstrate operational experience in an HSE Advisor/Specialist/Officer role, with proven leadership skills, and the ability to influence and coach the workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO standards, with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, reporting, communication, training and coaching skills
  • Highly organised and self‑motivated, with strong time‑management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems, experience in manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
