Job summary

A Liverpool school is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs, working with teachers to foster inclusion.

The role is full-time, term-time, commencing September 2026, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £540 per week. A 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject is requested.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
• Genuine enthusiasm for helping children and young people.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in SEN, child development, or teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Support teachers with preparation and delivery of engaging classroom activities.
• Help pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
• Adjust learning approaches to suit individual strengths and needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to monitor progress.
