Protocol Education is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students in a North Tyneside secondary school. You will work one-to-one and in small groups, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

Ideal for graduates considering careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology or SEND support, this role delivers valuable classroom experience, safeguarding exposure and CPD. Long-term opportunities and progression are available.

Responsibilities

  • Support students on a one-to-one basis.
  • Assist in small-group teaching sessions.

  • Support students with SEND, ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement and attendance.
  • Build relationships to support confidence and wellbeing.

The Role
  • Support students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
  • Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support students with SEND, Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement and attendance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
