Job summary

KPI Education is recruiting a Graduate Learning Mentor for an independent specialist autism school, starting November 2026. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with autism and SEND under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal graduates with Psychology, Education or Neuroscience backgrounds are invited to apply, helping with emotional regulation, communication and life skills while implementing personalised learning and positive behaviour strategies.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Psychology, Education, Neuroscience or a related subject.
• Demonstrate patience, resilience and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Aspire to pursue a career in Educational Psychology, SEN Teaching, SALT or Occupational Therapy.
• Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential.

Your Role - Graduate Learning Mentor

As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Hold a degree in Psychology, Education, Neuroscience or a related subject.
• Have a genuine passion for autism and SEND.
• Aspire to pursue a career in Educational Psychology, SEN Teaching, SALT or Occupational Therapy.
• Demonstrate patience, resilience and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Are enthusiastic about gaining specialist classroom experience.

Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential. Passion, commitment and the right attitude are key!
