The Civil Engineering graduate role covers roads, public realm, drainage, utilities, water and energy projects, across the project lifecycle from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in relevant academic discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Maritime Engineering; Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• 2D or 3D design software, such as AutoCAD or similar; Engineering assessment and analysis (e.g. hydraulic modelling, soil mechanics or structural analysis); Communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Learn new skills and deliver high-quality work for a range of Clients; carrying out assessments, analysis and design from initial due diligence stages through to construction.
• Use specialist analysis and design software to develop and support the design process.
• Collaborate within wider project and Arup teams, specialists and directly with clients; through good communication skills
• Be conscientious in creating a sustainable future for all and Shaping a Better World.
• Apply digital methods and automation to improve and enhance the work we deliver; by such applying measures as machine learning.
