Job summary

Rentokil Initial UK is recruiting graduates for a hands-on Specialist Hygiene Technician role in Croydon. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided, with clear progression into supervisory or sales pathways based on performance.

You will start with a 6–12 month training plan covering a defined area, delivering hygiene services, responding to emergencies, and gaining Level 1/2 hygiene qualifications and BESCA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 degree in a BSc or BA in Management/Hospitality/Logistics/Environmental Health.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong work ethic and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to meet business needs.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (if required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver essential hygiene services to a variety of clients
• Respond to emergency hygiene needs and participate in an on‑call rota
• Provide expert advice and professional service to clients
• Gain hands‑on experience in biohazard cleaning, flood clean‑up, infection control, and more
• Work towards Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in hygiene, plus BESCA certification
