SLR has a busy, well-established hydrology and hydrogeology team comprising over 45 specialists distributed widely throughout its UK office network. SLR’s Earth Science teams have extensive experience working in the energy, waste, mining, and commercial and residential development sectors. Due to ongoing success and a busy forward order book, we are looking to expand the team with the appointment of a hydrology graduate, working from one of our English offices (London, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon).
This position presents an outstanding opportunity to join a large team of specialists and be part of a wider group which also comprises hydrology, geochemistry, and hydrogeology consultants.

Working alongside Technical Directors with responsibility for hydrology and flood risk, the successful candidate will be required to prepare, organise, and undertake a range of tasks including water quality monitoring, site walkover surveys, supervising site investigations, flood risk assessments, interpretation of monitoring data, and preparing hydrological risk assessments and chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports.
This role may involve projects and site investigations across the UK and internationally, and therefore may include infrequent periods working away from home for several days at a time.
