We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic part-time Research Technician to join Hilary Ashe’s lab. The role involves supporting research on how gene expression and cell signalling dynamics regulate cell fate decisions during Drosophila development.
The ideal candidate will be practical, organized, independent, and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications required include a QCF level 6 (such as a bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant biological science subject, or QCF level 2 passes (such as GCSEs) in English, Mathematics, and at least one Science subject, along with substantial relevant laboratory experience. This position is funded at 0.5 FTE for 1 year.
