We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic part-time Research Technician to join Hilary Ashe’s lab. The role involves supporting research on gene expression and cell signalling during Drosophila development.
The ideal candidate will be practical, organized, independent, and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications required include a QCF level 6 qualification (e.g., bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant biological science, or QCF level 2 passes in English, Mathematics, and at least one Science subject, along with substantial relevant laboratory experience. This position is funded at 0.5 FTE for 1 year.
