Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join our groundwater and geothermal team in Cardiff or Birmingham. You’ll contribute to field investigations, desktop studies, data analysis and reporting across UK and international projects, while developing through our NextGen Talent programme.

The role offers hybrid working with travel to sites and our network of geo-environmental specialists, supporting your progression toward chartership and a long-term career.

Qualifications

• You will hold a first degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or a related subject, together with a Master’s or PhD in groundwater or hydrogeology.
• Enthusiasm for groundwater and geothermal energy, strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills, GIS experience and excellent teamwork are essential.
• Relevant work experience, such as a placement, is desirable.
• A full clean driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with groundwater and geothermal investigations from planning to field supervision.
• Support desktop studies, monitoring, testing and site data collection for modelling.
• Contribute to factual and interpretative reports for clients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and early chartership development.
