Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks a hydrogeologist to join our Groundwater & Geothermal Team in the UK/Ireland. You will work on groundwater resources, dewatering, contaminant hydrogeology, and geothermal development, with a role that may be Consultant or Senior level depending on experience.

Hybrid working and travel across regions are available. You will contribute to technical and commercial delivery, lead field activities, and develop project management and client relationship skills within a growing

Qualifications

You’ll have a good honours degree in geology, earth science, engineering geology, environmental science or a related discipline, plus relevant hydrogeology or groundwater experience.
You’ll bring practical fieldwork and investigation experience, strong data analysis and report writing skills.
Good Microsoft Word, Excel and GIS skills are important, along with strong organisation, communication and time management.
A full driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, procure, supervise and manage groundwater and geothermal investigations.
Carry out field activities such as groundwater monitoring, borehole drilling and installation, pumping tests and sampling.
Collate, quality-check, analyse and interpret data and produce reports, notes, drawings and presentations.
Support project set up, budgets, programmes, resources, subcontractors, change control and client relationships.
