Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join our Geo-environmental team in the UK. Based in Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh, you will contribute to contaminated land and geotechnical projects from day one.

In a hybrid role, you will assist with ground investigations, data collection and reporting, while developing practical consultancy skills toward chartership. Start date September 2027 and opportunities for site travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology or related subject.
• Genuine interest in engineering geology, site investigation, contaminated land and brownfield redevelopment.
• Work placement or similar experience desirable; driving licence and security clearance readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of ground investigations and environmental assessments.
• Gather, analyse and interpret site data to produce clear outputs.
• Work with senior staff to develop technical reports and recommendations.
• Assist with site visits and project-based travel as required.
