Sweco UK&I is offering an Autumn 2027 cohort for its Early Careers Graduate Scheme, inviting graduates to join as a Graduate Modeller. The role focuses on flood risk and urban drainage, using hydraulic modelling tools and GIS, with mentorship and a structured two-year blended learning program.

The scheme provides permanent positions, a salary and benefits package, and flexible hybrid working options across the UK. Applicants should have a relevant degree and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree related to modelling, flood risk or civil/environmental disciplines.
• Strong MS Office and digital tools proficiency.
• Ability to work in the UK without restrictions.
• Self-motivated, proactive and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of flood risk and urban drainage projects for a range of clients.
• Build and use hydraulic models (InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW) for rivers and drainage systems.
• Analyse wastewater and drainage networks under current and future conditions.
• Identify options to improve capacity, operation and resilience of networks.
• Use GIS to map flood extents and support planning.
