Sweco UK Ltd in Glasgow is recruiting a Graduate Modeller to join our Water & Asset Management Division. You will build hydraulic models of rivers, drainage systems and wastewater networks using Infoworks ICM, TUFLOW or similar, and support planning applications and flood risk assessments.

Qualifikationen

• Have a degree relevant to the role you’re applying for.
• Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Are confident using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future. This is a permanent role, and we’re looking for candidates who can grow their careers with Sweco without a time limit.

Aufgaben

• Build and utilise hydraulic models of rivers, drainage systems and wastewater networks using industry standard software (Infoworks ICM, TUFLOW or similar)
• Analyse the performance of wastewater and drainage networks under current and future conditions, including the effects of climate change and population growth.
• Identify and assess sustainable options to improve the capacity, operation and resilience of wastewater networks
• Identify the causes of flooding and develop options to reduce flood risk
• Use GIS to analyse data and map flood extents
• Contribute to planning applications, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and presentations
