Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting a Graduate Wastewater Network Modeller to join the Water Utilities Division in the UK. You will work on designing resilient wastewater networks and major drainage schemes, under the guidance of senior modellers, gaining exposure to national and international water frameworks.

You will grow your technical and project management skills through diverse projects, with support from a UK-wide modelling team and the three-year Accelerating your Future development programme.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected in the listed disciplines.
• Demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald.

Responsibilities

• Build and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic models.
• Assess and influence CSO activity and operation to meet sector targets.
• Evaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilience.
• Develop mitigation solutions and present options to clients.
• Work with industry-standard modelling software, GIS, and coding tools.
• Produce high-quality reports and visualisations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business.
