Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Graduate Wastewater Network Modeller to join our Water Utilities Division. You’ll help design resilient wastewater networks and deliver major pipeline transfers and drainage schemes that protect communities and the environment.

You’ll work with senior modellers, gain exposure to national and international water frameworks, and develop your technical and project management skills through varied project work.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Degree anticipated or obtained in 2025 or later in one of the specified disciplines.
• Demonstrated interest through modules, work experience, or research about our company and projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic models.
• Assess and influence CSO activity to meet sector targets.
• Evaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilience.
• Develop mitigation solutions and present options to clients.
• Work with industry-standard modelling software, GIS, and coding tools.
• Produce high-quality reports and visualisations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business.
