Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Hydraulic Engineer / Modeller in Cardiff to contribute to water utilities projects. You will work within an integrated team of engineers and environmental scientists to deliver hydraulic modelling, catchment analysis, spatial data handling and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with GIS and spatial data is preferred.
• Interest in Python, FME and hydraulic modelling software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets and perform scoping of future investigations.
• Develop hydraulic models for urban drainage, rivers and coasts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and present work.
• Maintain records of meetings, reports and data outputs.
• Support ongoing professional development towards membership.
