The opportunity
We believe HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology is a sustainable solution for energy transfer over long distances, connecting electricity networks with minimal losses. It also helps improve electricity quality and stabilizes power grids. HVDC is essential for offshore wind power and underwater transmissions.
As a Hardware Design Engineer, Graduate level at HVDC, you will design control cabinet layouts, including hundreds of circuit boards for measurements, control, and calculations. The system includes user interfaces like HMI, diagnostic tools, and IT infrastructure, utilizing our in-house real-time platform MACH to meet industry standards. Please note this is a direct entry role, not on a graduate rotation scheme.
Location: Glasgow, UK. We cannot provide visa support for this position.
