Vipond Fire Protection, part of Chubb Fire & Security, now has an opportunity for a Senior Sprinkler Design Engineer for a remote opportunity. Following recent business wins, we are keen to add to our Design team to manage fire protection systems remotely.

Goals and Objectives:

• Ensure high-quality system designs in compliance with standards and deadlines
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors

Responsibilities:

• Design sprinkler systems for various applications (Large works, small works, LPC Rules, NFPA, FM)
• Manage design responsibilities throughout project lifecycle
• Produce technical documentation, installation drawings, and coordination models
• Conduct hydraulic calculations
• Perform on-site surveys as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project specifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum LPCB Basic design qualification
• LPCB Intermediate and FHC qualifications are advantageous
• Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules essential; NFPA and FM standards advantageous
• Degree or HND in a related discipline preferred
• At least five years' experience in fire sprinkler system design
• Experience with water mist, hydrants, and riser systems preferred
